New Service FormsThis year, in order to ensure validity of hours, we are requiring a sponsor's signature on your hours. You can now submit a paper service hour form in person to any officers and Mrs. Fagan. On every service project, you have to get a designated sponsor's signature. YOU WILL TURN THIS FORM IN AT THE END OF EACH SEMESTER For Example: Math Mural / Nov 12th / 2 hours / *Mrs. Scherer's Signature* Since we are big kids, I trust that we don't lose this form (otherwise you'd have to go get the sponsor signatures all over again, which truly is a pain) To find it, go the the "Service Hours" tab on the website and there will be a link! If you aren't sure who the sponsor for the activity is, check this site first. If you don't find the answer, then ask Mei. Johns Hopkins CompetitionYou can get a flyer on the bulletin board in Mrs. Fagan's room. We will try to get an electronic one and put it in meeting notes. The theme is "Curiosity"! Paintings: You MUST provide a colored sketch to Mrs. Fagan/Mrs. McKinney in order to receive a canvas. Photography: Can be any size larger than 8*10, submit to Mrs. Hop! Sketch Due: Nov 9th Up to two people can collaborate on a piece. Deadline for painting : Jan 4th Mrs. Mckinney will drive them down to the jurors. You only need to complete the painting on time and submit it to Mrs. Mckinney. Youth and Government Long Sleeve Tee DesignYour main contact for this project is Diana (Our very lovely vice president) [email protected] or GroupMe We are looking for DIGITAL vectors that can be put on a long sleeve! Mrs. Clements knows someone who can print the shirts, so we don't have to fundraise or anything, just come up with the design. For anyone interested, we will accept all submissions. You can also work with a partner! For this service project, you should get your hours signed off by Diana. We will give all submissions to the YAG team and they can choose the final one. However! All submissions receive 2 service hours! Portfolio DayThe 17th Annual Art School Forum is taking place Nov 15th 2018@ Walt Whitman High School 5-7:30pm
The event is free. Many art schools are attending and can give feedback on your works. Comments are closed.
